Community

Mean or aggressive behavior should not be accepted in the home, the school, or in the larger community.  We have seen time and again the life-altering changes that can occur when members of a community work together toward a common goal.  The campaign to cure breast cancer, for example, began when a small group of women met in someone’s kitchen to discuss how they could get the ball rolling toward eliminating this scourge.  Imagine the impact that could be made if communities across the nation joined forces to peacefully vanquish violence and mistreatment in our youth.

The pages in this section provide information about how your community, in a joint effort with schools and families can begin to make this difference in the world.  Our children are counting on us to lead the way!
